I’ve always wondered this.  I’ve always bought new tires and turned away offers for used tires.  I have no reason other than assuming new meant better.  But used are obviously cheaper.  How do you determine if its worth it, and at what point does used become dangerous? 

It seems every tire shop i’ve been to has them lying around and offers used, so if anyone knows, maybe next time I’ll give used tires a try.
