Ok, this one is a question to those in the know.  What’s the deal with snow tires?  I live in Colorado and they seem like a good idea, but I have a set of new all purpose tires.  Am I ok with those, or do I need to invest in snow tires for the winter?  I drive an SUV, so I have what look like pretty heavy duty suv tires, but like i said, I don’t know much about this.  And can someone tell me what snow tires offer that all purpose tires don’t?
